About

We create charming jewelry, keychains and unique resin shakers for everyone. All our jewelry is handmade (by us!) right here in Ontario, Canada. We pour our heart and soul into our jewelry and hope to pass on some of that creative spirit to you, our customers.

We are a small Canadian business run by two wonderful women:

Dragonfly Girl Laura

Laura is based in the beautiful Kawartha Lakes region. She’s been creating jewelry for almost 10 years. Laura is hooked on chainmaille, and loves experimenting with new rings, patterns and techniques. A graphic designer by trade, Laura has just become a new mom to Julien, who is her new inspiration!

Dragonfly Girl Lisa

Lisa lives in Oakville, Ontario and has been crafting unique jewelry for nine years. She teaches jewelry classes at the Michaels stores in Oakville and Burlington, at the Oakville Museum and at the 3R Program in Freelton, Ontario. She loves to do birthday parties and share in the joy as girls explore their creativity. In her day job she runs her own marketing consulting business and spend her evenings driving her three kids around town!

“I absolutely love the choker that I won at the PBN meeting. Thank you so much. I have been showing it off over the last couple of days and a few of my female friends are quite jealous. I am directing them to your website! I shall be taking a closer look myself to purchase a few pieces for upcoming special events. Thanks again!!”
Elaine K.

“I am in love with my necklace from Dragonfly Girls Jewelry! Laura did an amazing job custom designing my necklace to match exactly what I was looking for! Their jewelry is unique, beautiful and very reasonably priced. There really is something for everyone. I have received so many compliments on my necklace everywhere I go. I look forward to adding many more pieces to my collection. Thank you Dragonfly Girls!”

“Thank you so very much for designing and making them (custom wedding jewelry) – not only will my girls receive jewelry that matches their wedding gear but they will receive something that they can (and most definitely will!) wear over and over again!”

Teaching and Parties

“Lisa has provided our Art Therapy Program with jewelry making classes over the last year. I cannot speak highly enough of the phenomenal job she does both in teaching and promoting creativity! She comes to class with a broad knowledge of jewelry making design and technique combined with a teaching style that engages and inspires. Lisa has a very welcoming and laid back personality that allows my participants to feel respected and comfortable. I would gladly recommend Lisa Michaels of Dragonfly Girls to anyone looking for a jewelry making instructor!”
Kathy Bernard, 3R Coordinator, Freelton, Ontario

“Carleigh and I just wanted to thank you for a fabulous birthday party. All of the girls were so proud of their creations and you spent such wonderful quality time with each of them. Thank you for an awesome day.” Tracy and Carleigh

“Thank you so much for the fabulous jewelry party you did for Kaelynne. She loved it so much!”
